In addition, GMCCA is offering seven free summer concerts in Globe, made possible through a grant from United Fund of Globe Miami and in partnership with the Globe Downtown Association and the City of Globe. The remaining summer concerts include:
Saturday, August 4: The Cover Ups at the train depot 7-9 p.m.
Saturday, August 18: Mimelight at the city park 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday, September 12: Steve Holmquist at the Gila County Historical Museum 6:30 p.m.
Our 64th season again offers six outstanding and varied musical performances which include:
Firefly, a country trio from Utah, who have opened for LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, Clint Black, and other country groups.
The Alley Cats, Americas Doo-Wop group, who have performed alongside The Coasters, The Drifters, and the Beach Boys
Acoustic Eidolon, a duo from Colorado, who have played cello and the guitjo (two-necked guitar) across the U.S., Europe, Canada and Australia
The Brothers Four, yes, the real Brothers Four folk quartet, on tour celebrating their Golden Anniversary!
Cafe Flutes, flutes as you’ve never seen them before from the 11-inch piccolo to the 10-foot long contrabass flute, playing a variety of musical styles.
Nicole Pesce, back by popular demand, known as the human iPod because of her repertoire of 12,000 songs of every musical genre you can imagine.
Concert attendance for the regular season is by membership only. Prices are as follows and include all six concerts:
Adults: $40 (That’s $6.67 per concert);
Students: $10 ($1.67 per concert);
Family: $90 (two parents and any number of children up to 18 years of age); and,
Single Parent Family: (one parent and any number of children up to 18 years of age).
