Globe Celebrates Spring with Easter Parade

The Globe Downtown Association is happy to announce the 2019 Easter Parade.
Join the celebration on Saturday, April 20 for the 11th Annual Easter Parade walking stroll in historic downtown Globe.
The parade is based on the old tradition of taking a stroll to welcome in Spring — think hats, parasols, finery and fun. Dress yourself, your family and friends and/or your pets to impress for this walking parade/stroll down and around historic Broad Street. Participants promenade from the train depot museum to walk the sidewalks making the grand loop this year back to the depot.
Check-in is between 9:30-10 a.m. at the historic train depot museum, 230 S. Broad St. The walking stroll starts at about 10 a.m.
The Easter Bunny and his friends will be onhand throughout the event ready for free photo ops, and don’t forget the fabulously-fun trivia scavenger hunt.
The Easter Parade/Stroll rain or shine event is sponsored by the Globe Downtown Association/Historic Globe Main Street Program and is free to the public.
